What is Kettlebell Khaos and Why Is It Different?

Kettlebell Khaos is extreme fitness that produces extreme results! It's a group workout experience that will make you love to work out. Kettlebells produce results faster then any other fitness tool on the market. It isn't a fad or a gimmick. It's old-school.

The class is not magic. You have to do the work. If you are looking for something that will be easy this is not the class for you. But change never is.

The exercises, nutrition, rest/recuperation is all done for you. All you have to do is show up for your workouts, follow the nutrition plan laid out for you and you will get the results you are looking for.

 

How does the 2-week trial process work?

Kettlebell Khaos Fitness Boot Camp is an invite-only membership program. We use the 2-week tryout to assess if our program is the right long-term fit for each trial member. If you are in fact invited to join our exclusive program you will have the ability to choose from several membership options based on your current schedule and budget.

Tryouts are only offered within the first 2 weeks of each phase of boot camp out of fairness to current members. You may start your trial anytime within the first 2-weeks of the current phase. All trial members must complete and submit an initial boot camp sign-up/waiver form prior to the outlined registration deadline before each phase of boot camp. Please refer to the FREE 2-Week Tryout Information for more details.

 

How do I get invited to join the program?

During the two-week trial, we expect each trial member to attend at least 4 out of the 6 available workouts, or 3 out 4 if coming 2x a week. This shows us that you are serious about getting results. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis if the on-site trainer is provided with advanced notice of an impending scheduling conflict.

However, attendance alone does not guarantee an invite to our program. We want to see that you are having fun and are bringing positive energy to the group. Complainers and whiners are NOT welcome!

Bottom line- if you make as many workouts as you can, work hard, and bring a positive mental attitude, you will put yourself in the best position to gain admittance to our program.

Note: If you have received a specific membership giveaway through a charity event or some other special promotion, the invite process will not apply until the end of this extended trial. Please make sure to hand in your special trial card with your initial registration form prior to boot camp's first class.

 

How does nutrition factor into the program?

Our goal is not to overwhelm, but rather to ease you into adopting healthier dietary habits for long-term success. All trial members will receive a complimentary nutrition quick-start plan that will provide basic introductory nutrition guidelines to get the ball rolling in the right direction.

At the end of the tryout period, all new paying members will be eligible to receive The Carb Rotation Diet from Registered Dietician Jayson Hunter consisting of monthly updated done-for-you belly fat-burning meal plans.

Members who would like to take their nutrition even further can sign-up for the Metabolism Makeover Nutrition Bootcamp. This is an intensive classroom type set-up that takes you week after week through everything you need to know about nutrition so you can take control of your body for the rest of your life. This program was also written by Jayson Hunter for those who are needing extra help, and support with thier nutrition.

 

How much does the program cost?

Kettlebell Khaos Fitness Boot Camp is a monthly membership program. Members are required to commit to either a month-to-month, 3-month, 6-month or 12-month billing agreement at a membership level that best caters to their schedule and budget as outlined below. How long is it?

Our Kettlebell Khaos Fitness program operates on a Phase schedule. We offer 10 phases of boot camp classes per year, each lasting 4 weeks in length with 1 week transition period in between throughout the year. So 4 weeks on and 1 week off. The exception is the last Phase due to the Holiday Season. The last phase is 1 week on, 1 week off, and 3 weeks on, 2 weeks off. During your off-weeks you will be provided with workouts you can do in your home along with interval workout tracks.

Each individual class is scheduled for 45 minutes in length. I will be available for questions 15 minutes before and after class. Occasionally we will engage in foam rolling activites before and/or after the class session.

 

What do I bring to class?

Each camper is expected to bring the following items to each workout:

- A water bottle or approved workout drink with shaker bottle
- A wipe down towel
- Your own exercise mat (Thicker the better)
- An equipment bag to hold all of the aforementioned items (optional)
-A positive and ready-to-work you! Leave any negativity at the door!

 

What kind of exercises will I be doing?

The majority of the classes will be a combination of kettlebells and bodyweight. Occasionally bands will be used. Classic kettlebell lifts such as the swing, clean, snatch, high pull, and turkish get-up just to name a few. As well other strength building exercises such as the squat, press, and row. The exercises are endless!

The more difficult exercises involving kettlebells will be proceeded with detailed instruction, followed by plenty of practice so that you will become a master. No one will be left behind.

Body weight exercises will be calestenics, pushups, core exercises, conditioning exercises, etc... Under no circumstances will you be engaging in distance running, or aerobics. We are not a fan of boring, repetitive, limited results type of exercise.

 

Are there any discounts?

Yes. If you are a student there is a 25% off discount.

There is a 15% discount if you sign up with a buddy. This can include friends, family, spouse, significant other, or co-worker.

There is also a 50% off referral bonus. If you are a current camper and refer someone who isn't in camp but becomes a member you will receive 50% off the next camp session. There is no cap to this, refer 4 people and get the next 2 camps FREE!

 

What do I wear to class?

You should wear comfortable, breathable clothing. Please make sure to wear clothing that is not too big- we need to see your body move at different joint positions during the workout so we can best assess your form and technique and make the necessary corrections.

In addition, please wear shoes that are designated for athletic purposes- often referred to as running, cross-training, basketball, or tennis shoes. Some common brands are Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Brooks, Asics, etc. Please feel free to ask your on-site trainer for his/her recommendations for proper footwear for kettlebell workouts.

 

What if I would like to track my progress in terms of body fat % and body measurements?

I offer a body fat assessment. I perform a body fat analysis, take your body measurements, and go over your current exercise and nutritional practices. The cost is $25 for the assessment. I use the Complete Ultrasound Body Composition Analysis from IntelaMetrix. It uses ultrasound to get a reading on your bodyfat levels, and is much more accurate than calipers.
